TUS Customer Success Story

 

Challenge

TUS, the Technical University of the Shannon, required a student counselling system that would combine student registration, student psychological assessments and appointment management.

While each of these was available individually it was not available as an integrated system. There was also a requirement to allow for national analysis of anonymised data, that students would need to consent to. TUS issued a public tender for the system.

Solution

MindaClient were successful in securing the tender. We worked closely with TUS to build the system that would be suitable for them and other universities and colleges. We built a facility that would allow each campus within the university to just see their own students.

The student completes their registration and then undertake a psychological assessment. The counselling team are notified and follow up to get in touch with the student. Students at risk are flagged for the counselling team. Counsellors can set the times that they are available and the students can book their own appointments.

There is full automation built in around the appointments with email and SMS notifications to help reduce any no shows.

Result

We now have a world class product that has since been installed in 4 other universities. We continue to enhance the product on an ongoing basis, based on further client feedback.
