We recently sat down with David Kelleher to ask him a few questions about life in MindaClient as a software developer.
Question 1 – What is your earliest memory in MindaClient?
My earliest memory of MindaClient is arriving on my first day to find that the company was in the process of moving their offices from the edge of town into the heart of Kilkenny City. The timing was great, it’s a fabulous city and a great place to work.
Question 2 – What has changed the most in the industry since you started with MindaClient form a development point of view?
The most dramatic change for me is how AI has transformed almost every aspect of software development. Spending less time writing routine code means more freedom for creative thinking, developing our existing products and taking on bigger projects.
Question 3 – What does a typical day look like for you and the development team?
My day tends to be varied and enjoyable: A mixture of application and network development, problem-solving, planning and keeping up with the ever changing needs of our demanding sales team!
